This year’s No.1 WMC anthem finally gets its full digital release!

Chicago’s multi talented, singer, songwriter, producer and dedicated musician, Peven Everett, unleashes the first single ‘Burning Hot’ taken from his exciting new artist album on Tribe Records titled ‘Beyond The Universe’. …Remixes come courteous of Tribe’s very own Zepherin Saint who once again shows off his arrary of talents as he funks things up further with mixes filled with energy and fantastic musicianship. Peven is one of the finest singer songwriter’s of his generation, it is no exaggeration to describe Peven Everett’s music as timeless. Spanning Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Funk, Rap, and every angle of dance, his work continues to turn dancefloors out across the world. Peven grew up listening to Gospel, Jazz, Soul, and African rhythms, which greatly shaped his musical style. The now 27 year old solo artist, Peven Everett, was born and raised in Harvey, IL and by the time he was 10, he learned to play drums, guitar, bass, flute, piano, trombone, and trumpet. The rest they say is history. His impressive catalog includes the ‘Studio Confessions’ album and now classic house songs “Gabrielle” and “Watch them Come”. He writes, creates, produces, and arranges all his music – something not too many artists can claim. ‘Show You Why’ is another great song from a man who doesn’t stop working to keep soul music alive across the globe. [TRIBE007] Nathan Adams & Zepherin Saint – Holding On (Incl. Timmy Regisford & Adam Rios Remixes) [Tribe Records]

http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?act=show&fc=tpage&cr=titles&cv=41605
Tribe Records are proud to present the new single from Nathan Adams & Zepherin Saint ‘Holding On’. The duo’s follow up single to ‘Circles’, which was our debut release on the label back in March and really set us on our way.

‘Circles’ has been supported by thousands of djs across the globe in the last six months and we really hope you enjoy the duo’s beautifully written new song featuring remixes from New York house legend Timmy Regisford.

Since the release of ‘Circles’, Nathan and Zepherin Saint have been working hard in the studio on an exciting album project due for release sometime in 2010. Nathan has been very busy doing live performances here in the UK and abroad. Last month he completed a five-date tour of the East Coast of America taking in gigs at Libation in New York, Washington and Baltimore where he performed tracks from the forthcoming album.

Zepherin Saint has also been busy in the studio working on some exciting new projects and is still resident dj at the monthly Tribe party here in London. ‘Holding On’ has become an integral part of his sets since he first played it back in July and has gone onto become a firm favourite with the crowd.

The vocal mix has a very bright percussive carnival feel to it, which then breaks down into pulsating keys with echoes of haunting synth waves that send tingles down your spine! Intricate percussive beats provide the perfect platform for Nathan’s delicious soulful voice and then it’s all about the horns!

Timmy Regisford heard the original track off the back of a few CDRs that we sent out and was quick to offer us his remix services on the track. It was a simple choice for us as Timmy has been so prolific with vocal tracks and he has most certainly delivered on the remix taking the track to the heart of the dance floor!
