After being busy locked away working on his exciting debut album due to be released Spring 2011, the 22 year old British talent Nathan Adams returns with his third single released on Tribe entitled “Love of my Life”..Nathan once again showcases his skill for penning beautiful songs of inspiration and love that shows a song writing ability of someone beyond his years.

Zepherin Saint takes the helm on production delivering a ready made classic with sweeping synth lines and infectious drums setting the mood for a stunning vocal that will light up the deep house dance floors this summer!

The release includes remixes by UK pioneer Atjazz who is adored for his productions around the world. A prolific remixer throughout his career remixing and reworking songs for artists such as Nitin Sawhney, Bob Sinclar, Jazzanova, Zed Bias & Omar to name but a few, Atjazz rocked up with three mixes that take you on a deeper path with graceful keys and sub bass lines.

Look out for some more exclusive mixes to follow on this single and Nathan Adams album featuring productions from Louie Vega, Josh Milan and Zepherin Saint.

Still Music is proud to present Analog Aquariumand#8221;, the debut album by legendary Detroit house producer Rick The Godsonand#8221; Wilhite. Rick is a longtime member of Detroit’s dance music scene, dating back to his time working at Buy Rite records, one of the epicenters of Detroit’s 1980’s techno music explosion. More recently, his own record shop Vibes New and Rare Music has achieved revered status amongst those in the know, acting as the heart and soul of deep dance music in the city. Rick is also responsible for throwing countless parties in Detroit, helping to develop the house sound that the city is known for, and to build connections to DJs from other cities like Chicago that have proved invaluable over the years. His love for music and records has led to a DJing career that has spanned many genres, though it is his take on deep house music that has led him to international acclaim. Drawing from Detroit’s history of soul, jazz, disco, house, and techno, Rick’s productions weave these sometimes disparate elements into a beautiful, cohesive whole that remains distinctly his own, just as he does with the records he plays in his DJ sets. Working with Theo Parrish, Keny Dixon Jr., and Malik Pittman on the 3 Chairs project has grown Rick’s reputation even greater. With many classic 12and#8221; releases under his own name that have been absolutely beaten to death by DJs worldwide, it is now time for Rick to leave his mark on a wider audience with his debut solo album. While it is undoubtedly HIS album, Analog Aquariumand#8221; allows Rick to explore all sides of his musical abilities with the assistance of some of his most trusted allies. The record kicks off with a hot, jazzy vocal track in collaboration with Osunlade, Theo Parrish, and Billy Love, the Jacksons’ referencing Blame It On The Boogieand#8221;. While this tune conjures up images of the California sun, the next cut, Dark Walkingand#8221;, sees Rick team up with fellow 3 Chair Malik Pittman to explore the deep, nasty underbelly of the 313 with menacing synth bass and warm jazz chords. The two part jam Muzic Gonna Save The Worldand#8221; is a loose, stomping string-heavy romp, bringing to mind Pharoah Sanders if the synthesizer and sampler had been his instruments of choice. Sunshine Pt. 2and#8221; starts off pleasant enough with rolling percussion and Rick’s own voice intoning, Sunshineand#8221;, but those vibes are soon belied by the ominous strings and bells that transform the track entirely. One of the tracks from Rick’s first outing on Still Music is revisited on City Bar Opening (Basement Mix)and#8221;, taking the already raw feeling to an even higher level. Deep Horizonsand#8221; begins with frenetic percussion that is eventually whittled down to a soulful groove before building the intensity back up. Rick’s famous late-night sampled grooves reappear on In The Rainand#8221;, with Billy Love vibing up the place with his heart-felt vocals. On Cosmic Jungleand#8221; and Cosmic Soupand#8221;, Rick explores outer and inner space with tripped-out sci-fi effects but without sacrificing the soul that makes his productions so personal. All in all, a fitting full-length for such a diverse musician. Still Music is based in Chicago, IL, and is the brainchild of Jerome Derradji. Now in its seventh year, Still Music has been instrumental in the worldwide proliferation of some of America’s freshest underground dance music. DJ Mbuso – The Recontruction [Universal]

 Born in Orlando West, Soweto, Mbuso began by creating mix tapes and later, with his brother, started one of the biggest annual parties in Soweto. In 1999 he won the Camel Vinyl Experience Meltdown. 

Mbuso. In early 2000 he got the prime weekend dance slot on ‘Y-FM’ Radio. His first compilation, ‘Urban House Mix’, was released in 1999. In 2003 he released ‘Soul Candi Session 1. 

His first self-produced album, ‘Shades of Maf & So’, was released in 2005, and in 2006. Now in 2010 he will release ‘The Reconstruction.’

Our next release sees two of South African’s rising stars Alpha & Olmega teaming up with Sheyi who’s probably best know for his amazing percussion skills at our Tribe events…. ??Sheyi has recently made the transformation from percussionist to vocalist and along with Alpha & Olmega, has created a awesome piece of energetic afro house that we’re sure will be in your CD wallets for months to come! ??

Alpha & Olmega (Xolani Dlamini & Vusimuzi Chirwa) hail from the dusty streets of Soweto, South Africa. From a young age, these talented individuals knew they had music in their blood discovering their producing skills while playing around with their computer in one of their friends bedrooms, where locals would come and perform with instruments and percussion and their enthusiasm for house music grew from there.

Last year, Alpha & Olmega decided to bring their talents to the world, armed with nothing more than a hard drive filled with beats and a heart full of dreams, they immersed themselves in the city’s club culture. Their first big release which also featured Sheyi on vocals ‘Islandiwana’ was picked up by Nulu Records in the US and now there is a big anticipation for their follow up release.

Sheyi’s take on the project…

‘The African drummer’ ensemble has its origins in the Royal Kraal’s of Soweto and Oba’s Palaces of the old Yoruba Kingdoms. Drum and Dance…. the order of the day… till day break!

…Whilst the ancestral Percussive drums would announce the dance entourage within the various mixes.. to culminate in the vocal message of Zepherin Saint’s mix which emphasizes our ‘Dance and Love’ culture in these beloved modern times…’

The package includes remixes from Italy’s main man Fabio Genito, Toronto’s Trinidadian Deep and our very own Zepherin Saint. ?This one is sure to ‘make them dance!

500 limited vinyl copies of the track were released on 8th November and were sold out in two weeks with over 10,000 Youtube hits in the last month. Look out for new mixes dropping at the end of next month from Sonar Kollektiv’s main man from Berlin, Dixon. At The Club immediately puts you in the imagery position of being in a dark club as the first few bars of beats and haunting synths come in and then Lynn’s sexy hooky vocals tempt you in sending you straight onto the dance floor with her! There’s no doubt that this one will definitely have people bouncing around in clubs around the world. Timmy has been in the music industry more than 25 years first working as for MCA Records as their A&R Director, where he developed artists Loose Ends and Colonel Abrams. This classic track previously released on Soulistic Music in South Africa and has been a dance floor stomper at our Tribe parties so much so that we licensed it and enlisted Roland Clark to bring his amazing talents to proceedings and provide an inspiring vocal into anthem status and at the same time purveying a very positive message ‘our seeds will grow so have faith and give light someday to our way. As if that was not enough our good friend Rocco joined the EP by providing further remixes bringing his unique musical energy to form a very strong digital package. Black Coffee and Culoe de Song have turned house music on it’s head since they came to the forefront of the scene a few years ago, both are massive icons in their native South Africa and have come and represented at our party here in London this year and we trust that these new vocal versions will stir many a dance floor across the world in the next few months!
