House Device lay down the new old law with back to basics Chicago House foundation and top it off with some insanely tweaked out string lines.
Tell those boys their instincts are AMAZING. I’ve been really into the feel of strings a lot in the last year but since hearing that mix I’m examining EVERYTHING for how the strings sound. I think they established one of the summer’s key trends. We’ll just have to listen to what comes along and see…. Random Soul have used some off kilter violin on their Original mix of “Take Your Time” (when I heard it I went “BINGO !” )

Thanks for this – an all round solid package, seems you have all bases covered.
Three mixes are doing it for me at the moment:
1) House Device Classic Underground Remix – reminds me of the classic funky house stuff CJ Macintosh and Todd Terry used to play, mid 90’s MoS style. Love the strings and overall funky vibe. Will be dropping this early doors at 26!
2) Seb Skalski’s Hot Bounce Remix – love the tribally feel to the drums and bouncy baseline, a definete head-nodder. Gets my booty shaking!
3) BBWhite Deep Down Dope Mix – right up my alley, loving the deeper house vibe to this one. Will definetely be supporting this one on the show. Big.
