release date: Jun/27/2011

http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?act=show&fc=tpage&cr=titles&cv=98894
Belgium and France’s soulful dons U-Ness & JedSet are back with their ’11 cover following up the huge success of “Push The Feeling On” last year and this time Everything But The Girl’s classic “Missing” are receiving a soulheatin treatment keeping the track in a quality and housy alley avoiding the cheesy slice that covers gets usually – With label fontmans, you know what to expect in terms of covers before the song even starts; feel-good house beats, simple rhymes and uplifting soulful vibes packed in wherever possible. this time they got the talented french singer Lorena in on the act as well gets to re-sing the chorus instead in a wonderful way! At the end, with all quality mixes from soulheat familiar faces like Samson Lewis, Robert Rivera, Floy, Miq Puentes, Deemah (aka Soledrifter) and newcomers on the label like Licious, JS, Nicolas Bassi and Badu, “Missing” does have that little extra to make it an essential tune on any DJ’s bag this summer !

Monodeluxe feat. Jannae Jordan – Time Remix Project [Vibe Boutique Records] {promo}

release date: Jul/07/2011

http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?act=show&fc=tpage&cr=titles&cv=96868
Vibe Boutique Records has done it again! Delivered a package that has something for everyone! Truly a classy, rich, musically solid package. Guaranteed quality listen, and sure to be a DJ and fan favorite alike!

By the close of 2010, “TIME” Monodeluxe Feat.Jannae Jordan, managed to make it to the Top of Traxsource.com’s Lounge /Chill out category. “TIME” also made it into Traxsource’s the Top 50 Lounge/Chillout Best of 2010 list!
Because Vibe Boutique Records team ( Brigetta Dunson and Alessandro Oliviero aka Monodeluxe) along with Singer Songwriter, Jannae Jordan, set out to make a really good soulful song for all to enjoy as opposed to being focused on genre, “TIME” got radio and club play all around the world on House, Chill out , New Jazz and Neo Soul playlists! That doesn’t happen every day. With that kind of support and cross genre acceptance, immediately upon release, “TIME” was a bonafide hit.

From the very beginning, “TIME” captured the interest of established and highly respected Producers and Remixers. Because of that very interest, it was almost a given that this Remix project would be. And today, “TIME” THE REMIX PROJECT, is! Soulful, sexy, chill, deep are all words that have been used to describe what this release is. Jordan’s vocals are as rich and honest as always, where Monodeluxe brings even more of the sexy chill vibe he produced with the original. Joining this musical party, Anthony Nicholson (Soundphase) take this song and gives it the underground soulful flavor one expects him to deliver, and he does not disappoint. Jonny Montana turns out a lush melodic remix that makes the head swoon. Jay Robertson ( aka Aqua Bassino) , the very first to lay his hands on this project, takes “TIME” all the way deep and all the way sexy ever so elegantly. And lastly The Disclosure Project, came back with a deep groove of a remix layered with warm rich tones and keys as well as a dance floor bumpin dub.

Miguel Migs feat. Mutabaruka – Red & Dread [Salted Music]

http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?act=show&fc=tpage&cr=titles&cv=96775
Already receiving full support and plays from a diverse range of artists such as: Danny Krivit, Tony Humphries, Groove Assassin, Fred Everything, Soulmagic, Andy Ward, Inland Knights, Johnny Fiasco, Russell Deeks (IDJ Mag), Grant Nelson, Kiko Navarro, Groove Junkies, Neil Pierce (Soulheaven), Jask, Trevor Mac, Raul Campos (KCRW), Joshua Heath, J Boogie and many many more!

One of the great Reggae legends, Mutabaruka, known for his deep and meaningful spoken word and poetic style always delivers thought provoking lyrics. It’s no wonder that Mos Def sights him as one of his “hero’s”.
Migs and Muta teamed up to drop this unique collaboration straight from Jamaica. Dub and dance collide on this single with a solid set of remixes all customized for your dance floor pleasures.

Migs’ original and dub versions combine deep house and tech elements with a dubby disco feel.

Dave Mayer delivers a wicked bass driven upbeat, afro-dub infused groove.
Poland’s Seb Skalski drops a full on Reggae flavor with his well-crafted rework combining live horns and classic guitar skanks complete with a clever breakdown into half time.

Thor goes deeper with a well thought out moody and techy influenced sound with warm pads and subtle synth stabs.

Last but not least, Nickodemus creates a more organic eclectic atmosphere with plenty of live instrumentation, perfect for those laid back outdoor daytime summer sets.

Please support indie labels and DO NOT copy or share! Respect and rock the disco-tech!
