FFF sees the pair combine their wealth of dancefloor knowledge, and create a devilishly groovy tech house cut.
Tight beats and throbbing bass are overlaid with organ riff and filtered vocal sampler, to produce a killer cut.
On the remix is none other than Seattle’s Pezzner. The DJ favorite and Freerange regular is set once again to please all, with his fantastic rework. Turning the original on its head, Pezzner adds his own key and xylophone melody, to create a wonderfully hypnotic and beautiful revision. The man is a genius.
Rounding out the release, Tomoki drops his own Basement Remix. Deep and ever so warm, it plays on classic beats, and caressing synths, with the filtered vocal sample working away throughout. Excellent!
Taken from the suprise album of the year Same Monkeys, Different Zoo released in summer 2010 on Moodmusic , we have the standout vocal track Speak Your Mind as a remix pack on offer. –
