‘Kgale’ is a traditional song which tells an ancient story about the great warriors who lived in a small village in a country called Lesotho. These warriors defeated their enemies with the help of their Ancestors. The warriors were very poor and had families to feed. People from neighboring villages made them slaves and they treated them terribly, but the warriors kept pushing for the sake of their families and for the sake of living a decent life. The Ancestors one day caused a great storm, which killed everyone living in the village except the warriors and their families. In the end, the warriors lived happily ever after, singing thanks and praise to their ancestors for being on their side all along…

For those who are aficionados of quality soulful house music then expect nothing but the best soulful music from Dave and Dean. And they are not failed to deliver another quality release. On remix duties, JedSet set up the tone once again with his soulheatin trademark soulful touch aswell as Moroccan newbie Purple Shade with a club floorfiller as it’s best ! don’t miss it !

Review

This one arrived out of the blue at the weekend and caught my attention immediately. I’ve actually known Christian since the late 90s but had lost track of his career some time ago. It was certainly a pleasant surprise to see him pop up as vocalist on Soulheat’s latest release. So what can you expect? It’s an energetic slice of euro influenced house that I think sounds best in the various “Jedset Mixes” though the” EO Club Dub really does hit the spot”. Christian’s vocals, for those who’ve never heard him before, are delivered with plenty of emotion and should appeal to fans of Jamiroquai DEAN SERAFINI .
