Scope – Big Bad City [Large] {promo}

release date: Mar/08/2011

Classic Disco House ep with support from Pezzner, Giom, Mark Grant and Fred Everything

Time flies when we’re having fun and it certainly doesn’t seem like it was 3 years ago when SCOPE joined the Large Music family.

Today SCOPE is back once again and we’re proud to say it’s his 5th original release on our label!

For this release Ric has looked more to the past than the future for his inspiration. Remembering the days when House music was influenced by musicality and instrumentation, rather than efx and modern production techniques. The ‘Big Bad City’ EP is a real example of looking back, but thinking forward.

The title cut ‘Big Bad City’ is an old skool piano House work out. A feel good, uplifting disco house jam that sounds just as good in a warm up set as it does as an end of the night anthem.

On the flip, ‘Deep Inside’ is another Disco House burner. The phat rolling bassline is suitably sandwiched between swinging, heavy disco drums and some beautifully blended instrumentation. This lovely track is presented in 2 mixes depending on your mood and dancefloor.

Large Music and SCOPE continue to set the standards for real Deep House music..we hope you agree.
