Revolutionary Music’s latest release features recording artist Goulet and The Spins. In addition to the impressive sound of The Spins, this release also comes with a quartet of top notch remixes. Included are Chicago house legend Roy Davis Jr. with his signature deep and funky sound, in demand Texan house producer JT Donaldson on the jazzy house tip, Chicago loft party staple Justin Reed giving an electro-bounce house treatment, and London’s jackin’ house ambassador Lee Jarvis delivering a bassy tech-fidget version. As a bonus, Goulet closes out the set with another original track Extra Long Polo, filled with more impressive live instrumentation, this time over an old school breakbeat-house groove. The Spins is set for general release on May 26th, 2011.
Originally based in San Antonio, Goulet is a multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer and turntablist with an eclectic sonic resume containing numerous remixes as well as cuts on the acclaimed downtempo compilation Revolutionary Music Presents Organica Lounge. Goulet regularly performs live as a duo with Revolutionary Music co-founder and fellow multi-instrumentalist Bryan Ford, an act that has performed “The Spins” cross-country.
