Leeds based keyboard whizz Dan Goldman undoubtedly delivered one of the soul albums of 2010 in the shape of JD73’s “Pure Gold” cd which topped Solar Radio’s Sweet Rhythms Chart for over a month.

Now we give you some blazing hot remixes of two of the prime cuts. ‘Think Twice’ featuring Ella May (who has previously featured with Nightmares On Wax) gets given the bumpy soulful house treatment from ever reliable Sean McCabe. Check out his similarly 90s garage style dub too.

Tornado Wallace has been making a name with some high quality releases on labels like Delusions of Grandeur. He takes the instrumental ‘Into The Night’ into more hypnotic territory but retains the original musicality and jazziness

Last is Dan’s own extended take of the CD’s 80s boogie style ‘Round And Round’, complete with plenty of D Train style riffs and punchy brass.
